It is scientifically shown that meditation increases the gray matter within the brain. It Increases the efficiency of the neuro-cortex. It increase the size of the hippo-campus so its gonna reduce a lot of depression.
They say just 8 weeks of meditation reduces the size amygdala which is largely responsible for fear….It dissolves the ego.
Explanation of the above:
sense of self
This is a great thing to hear for those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia and others.
” I recommend meditating for at-least 15 minutes every day for a week and then extend the time by 5 minutes. If you keep doing this, eventually thoughts will weaken, your concentration will become stronger and you will have moments of deep mental calm and inner peace.”
I personally keep a journal for my when I meditate so I can write down what I saw and felt. So I can go back and reconnect what It means and have validations.
- Ground yourself.
- Let everything go.
control your thoughts or judge them. Just acknowledge them and them emotions along with them.
Also you have 3 major things to sense; seeing with your third eye. feeling energy, and hearing.
- Try not to focus on just one thing just let it come to you.. dont control it.
The only thing I advise you doing is to remember to breathe in with your nose and out with your mouth.
Here is one of my many favorite videos of meditating and grounding.
